Shipping & Return Policy
STORE PICKUP – 144 Garafraxa St. S., Durham, Ontario
Orders from our book store can be picked up Tuesday – Friday, from 10:00am – 5:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm and are generally ready within an hour during store hours. You’ll be notified when order is ready by either phone or email as per your choice
USED BOOKS FOR SALE
Used books for sale. I accept used books and can offer store credit for any books I feel I can re-sell. At this time, store credit cannot be applied through the website.
Our books are second-hand books. Mostly gently loved books, there still may be a few ex library or well-used books in the lot. Please contact us to confirm condition/ have photos of item sent to you.
Note: the covers of books in stock may not match the cover image on the website. If you are collecting for covers, or the cover art matters to you, you may wish to contact me before completing your order to ensure the edition I have is the one that you want. I try to stock used books that are in good condition.
The Bookstore is open for browsing and in-store shopping.
How does pick-up work?
When you receive your notification that your order is ready, come to 144 Garafraxa St. S, Durham within 7 days with your order # and ID. When you arrive, proceed to the checkout and let us know that you are picking up your order.
What happens if I miss the 7 day pick up window? If you are unable to pick up your items within the 7 day window, please call or email to let us know when you expect to be able to pick up your items. If we do not hear from you, your items may be re-listed and your money will be refunded.
Will you ship or deliver items? Sorry, at this time we are not offering delivery. We are offering in store pick-up and shipping.
Simply purchase the item(s) on our website and you'll receive an order confirmation right away. We'll then pull your order and notify you as soon as it's ready to be picked up.
We do accept returns, within 30 days, if:
item is not the item you ordered,
item is missing parts
a new item is damaged when received
In any of the above conditions, we would be happy to refund the cost of item, minus shipping cost.
Please contact by email: firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number, image of defective item, and state what part of item is defective in order to receive the authorized address to send back the item. Wait 7 to 10 days for the refund to show on your account.
Do not try to send back item without following the above steps as you will then not receive a refund.
